Pitched up to a very crowded beach but not that many out on the water. 5.7m weather seemed standard so rigged that and the Synchro in about 10 mins flat. Hit the water and was well powered up, but not overpowered. Then after five minutes the wind started to increase and people started running for cover. I stuck it out for a while as the only one on the water until I came in to change down to my 5m and wave board. But by the time I had de-rigged, people were going for 4.5m. Should have gone with my gut instinct as I rigged a 4.5 and it was ok, but could have done with a touch more on the inside. Manage a few rides, but still don't get this wave stuff!
